Winning Big at Southern Counties Championship!
The winning streak continued at the Southern Counties Championship! Archer (Ch Mawali Going Four Gold) proudly took Best of Breed, and Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) won the Reserve Bitch ticket under judge Helen Kerfoot. We were also absolutely thrilled to see our Breeders Team win first place in the breeders competition!

Spectacular Results at Bath Championship!
Team Mawali had a wonderful day at the Bath Championship Dog Show; Under judge Miss E A Ingram, Archer (Ch Mawali Going Four Gold) won the Dog CC, while Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) secured the Reserve Bitch ticket. To top off a brilliant day, our Breeders Team was awarded first place!

Another Best of Breed for Archer at SKC!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Ch Mawali Going Four Gold - Archer, was awarded Best of Breed at the Scottish Kennel Club (SKC) show. Handled by his owner Gareth Williams, Archer impressed under respected judge Tim Ball. One day Gareth will rememeber to take a photo!

Archer Wins Dog CC at the Scottish Hound Show!
We are absolutely thrilled to share that our handsome Archer (Ch NL, Ch Intl Ch Mawali Going Four Gold) was awarded the Dog CC at the Scottish Hound Show! A huge thank you to respected breed judge Danny Cullen for thinking so highly of our boy. Even though we were completely terrible and forgot to snap a photo on the day, Archer continues to shine and make us incredibly proud!

Meredith Wins Bitch CC at Crufts!
We had an absolutely unforgettable day at Crufts! Our beautiful Miss Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) took home the Bitch CC under respected judge Graham Hill, who was incredibly sensitive, understanding, and respectful of our breed. Meredith topped the biggest class of the day, showing her little white socks off and giving 100% every time we went in the ring. With this incredible achievement, she proudly joins her mother Esme and siblings Terrence, and Archer as a Crufts winner, continuing a wonderful legacy for Mawali. To say we are proud of our girl is an understatement; she truly has a beautiful heart. Thank you to everyone who took the time to congratulate us!

Top 8 Breeders Competition Finalists!
What an incredible honor! For the second year in a row, the Mawali Breeders Team was shortlisted in the Top 8 of the prestigious Breeders Competition at Crufts. We are incredibly proud of our team and our dogs for representing the breed so beautifully on the famous green carpet.

Bingo Wins First CC at LKA!
A fantastic result at the Ladies Kennel Association Championship Show! We are over the moon to report that Bingo (Mawali New Kid on the Block) was awarded his very first Challenge Certificate (CC). A wonderful achievement for this young boy.

New Arrivals: Terrence's Puppies!
We are absolutely delighted to announce our newest additions to the family! This beautiful litter features two stunning puppies who are already stealing our hearts. We are proud to introduce our handsome tri-colored boy, Mawali Goody Two Shoes, and our lovely red and white girl, Mawali It Takes Two. Both are doing fantastically well, and we can't wait to see them grow.

Success at the Basenji Club Shows!
What a fantastic day at the Basenji Club of Great Britain shows! At the Championship Show, Archer (Ch NL, Ch Intl Ch Mawali Going Four Gold) was awarded the Dog CC and Best in Show under judge Rusty Grayson. Meanwhile, at the Open Show judged by Jonathan Lappin, Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) took home Best In Show and Best Bitch. A huge congratulations also to Bingo (Mawali New Kid on the Block) for winning 1st in Open!

William Wins Best Puppy in Show!
I am incredibly proud of William (M Wami's Fired Up Ready To Go To Mawali) for winning Best Puppy in Show at the Welsh Championship! He performed beautifully. A huge thank you to judges Mr Tom Rabbite (Breed), Mrs Rachel Barney (Group), and Mr David Shields (BPIS). I am so grateful for the support from my husband John cheering me on, and to Emma for entrusting us with this amazing boy.

The Double at Richmond!
We achieved "The Double" at the Richmond Championship Show under judge Mr Jeff Horswell! Archer (Ch NL Ch Intl Ch Mawali Going Four Gold) won the Dog CC, while Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) secured the Bitch CC and Best of Breed (BOB). An incredible day for Mawali Basenjis!

July Show Highlights
July was a busy and successful month! At the Championship Hound Show, Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) won the Bitch CC and Best of Breed, while William won Best Puppy and was shortlisted for Best Puppy in Show. At the Hound Association Premier Open Show, Archer won Best of Breed under judge Philamena Nash. Furthermore, on July 13th at the Bakewell Premier Show, Meredith won Best of Breed and Group 1 under judge Jill Cross!

June Wins & Breeders Competition Success
In June, Team Mawali had fantastic results in the Breeders Competition. Meredith (Ch Mawali New York New York) won the Bitch CC and Best of Breed under Simon Parsons. Earlier in the month, on June 2nd at the Southern Counties Championship Show, Archer won the Dog CC. At the Bath Championship Show, Archer took the Reserve Dog CC and Meredith won the Reserve Bitch CC. Team Mawali proudly won the Breeders Competition at both shows!

Crufts 2025 Finalists!
We were thrilled to have reached the final of the year-long breeder's competition and to have been shortlisted at Crufts 2025! A huge thank you to the judges and the whole team: Sarah with Meredith, Charlotte with Bingo, Ashley with Terrence, and Gareth with Archer.
